Price

The price for this course is $4,850. Space is limited to only 40 students per bar. The reason is because of the time and attention each student receives. It would be impracticable to take on a class of more than 40.

What the price includes:

The cost of the program includes any books or materials needs, unlimited personal attention, thorough grading and feedback on essays sometimes by two different attorney’s all within a 24 hour window, a comprehensive daily schedule, unlimited calls, meetings upon request, unlimited attention at your convenience, accessibility, and royalty fees to the NCBE. In addition, there are other intangibles not mentioned. For example: I do take your calls during the bar, at lunch or Tuesday or Wednesday night. You will also receive tips and model answers to your bar exam way before results come out. The model answers will be written as soon as the California Bar Examine Committee posts them on their website sometime in August or September.

To note: the price must be firm and fair to all who pay. There are incentives offered and payment plans available. At a minimum, half is requested up front.

If financing is a problem provisions may be made under certain circumstances where you pay a certain amount (usually up to $500) if and only if you pass. You must complete the course work and turn in the assignments in good faith. Thus, a reasonable payment plan looks something like this: $2,500 up front, $925 for the next month and $925 for the last month; and when results come out, if and only if you pass do you pay the final $500.

I want everyone to feel that they get what you pay for, but remember it is not smart to be penny wise and pound foolish, which means being cautious and wise with small amounts of money but wasteful and foolish with larger amounts.

You must think about the time, expenses for hotel, bar fees, laptop and re-registration fees, plane tickets, gas, new books, the hassle, the stress of the experience again, the disappointment of checking your results, loss of employment and income, career earnings, 6 months of not being paid like a lawyer, etc… should you not pass the bar exam. Thus, it is imperative that you make this your “one-time” and do it right. When you factor in all the expenses the price seems more than reasonable. Keeping in mind, the bar is only twice a year.

I also make a commitment to stick by my students. Thus, if for some reason you need to take the bar again or at a different time, you get to go again for free. I do not believe in charging anyone for a job that should have been done the first time. I give everyone a promise and a commitment and I intend to honor that. There is a written contract that details this information.

Additionally One-Timers offers:

$75 per essay grading. You will get an essay of the subject of your choosing to be graded with full and complete comments, a grade similar to a California Bar exam grade and model answer. Turnaround time is within 24 hours, but is usually much shorter. The feedback is comprehensive and thorough. If you would like to see a sample of how your graded essay will be returned please email or call. Thank you.

$1,500 MBE course materials: MBE book of our choice, plus previously released MBE questions from the NCBE, a discussion of the MBE with a scope outline and MBE Tips. In addition, you will be privileged to call and ask questions at your convenience but only on MBE questions and MBE subject matter.
